DOING GOOD: AN UPDATE ON OUR DONATIONS TO CURE INTERNATIONAL
We have had a strong start to our year. Our product line is growing and our team is busier than ever. Wayne Wilson, who oversees manufacturing, is staying on his toes managing our ever-expanding line of products. However, these days he is also fulfilling a very special order: our charitable donation to CURE International.
As SVP, Manufacturing and Product Development, Wayne has had an outstanding career in the apparel and textile industry. He takes great pride in using his expertise and life experiences to help persons in need, particularly children.
“Prime Medical wants to do good in the world and save lives. By helping children’s hospitals in developing countries, we can aid those doctors, nurses and volunteers to reduce healthcare-associated infections that can further complicate a child’s health and recovery,” shares Wayne.
To aid in this effort, more than 450 of our bactericidal SAF-T scrubs were shipped to CURE International in 2014 and 2015 for distribution to hospitals in need in Uganda and Malawi.
We’re proud to share that our next donation of germ-killing scrubs is being shipped to CURE International this month that will benefit a children’s hospital in Zambia.
We founded our company on a mission to reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections by providing soft surfaces that protect healthcare workers, patients and visitors. Our goal is to share our innovative products to improve the lives of children and healthcare workers in developing countries, through our alliance with CURE International.
